From 'zero' to 'hero'

This could be my last entry for this blog as the end of the semester is coming soon.This course has made me realized many things in and out.

From zero to a hero(going to be). i mean, a hero to students. This is what i always called my teacher during my childhood. I called him a hero as he manage to make me feel so motivated to learn. His way of teaching is just too perfect for me and of course he's not standing in front of the class and just talk+chalk!

What i like about blogging?
Blogging is not a new thing to me. I read other people's blog but i've never write a blog myself. I've tried once but only after one entry, i realized that i am not a blogging type of peson. I choose to be secretive not to reveal my feelings to others.

However, this course force me to blog. During my first entry, i was so uncomfortable with it but time after time, i found out that there's something that i share will benefits the others. That is when i found that blogging is a good thing to do. With blogging, you can share what you have with the others.Your writing maybe important to others.

Secondly, what i like about blog is that you are free to throw out your words. Your own words are your own opinion. There's no such rught and wrong things. Nobody will correct you but a lot of comments will be coming to you.

With all those comments, You'll be able to improve yourself.


What they do not like about blogging?
For some people, blogging can be too harsh because people are talking and talking without considering other people's feeling. Some of them even made false statement on something and making blog as a place to accuse someone.


What have they gain from blogging?
From blogging, what i can say is that i've improved my language and writing skill. Blogging is not like writing a report or an essay. It is different. It's more like a diary to me and writing a diary is my hobby! but still, i kept necessary information in my blog.


What they like about the course?
This course taught me a lot on how to be creative teacher. It also taught me lot on technology which i have never knew before. Things like downloading, decoding,extracting and also splitting is very useful to me. All that i've learnt are useful to me.


What they do not like about the course?
Too much task is given in one time. Althought all the task is important and useful, but still we need some times to be recharged. Too much task in one time is a horror.


What they do not expect but have learnt from the course?
I didn't expect that I'll learnt a lot of technology things in this course. Things like downloading never come in my mind about this course.


What they expect but have not learnt from the course?
I taught that developing materials is not just to do with technologies but also in the traditional way. For me, the traditional ones still have the values. For example the puppets. In my experiences, using puppets able to attract student's attraction very well.


If they can change anything about the course,state what is and explain.
I can't think of changing anything except for the overloaded works.

who's the new baby? well..the new baby is the ASSIGNMENT 3.. the elder one is called ASSIGNMENT 2. remembered now? (*_*)



what's about assignment 3? for this assignment, i have to design four lesson plans including four skills which are listening, speaking, reading and writing. besides that, this work also requires us to develop our own teaching materials.

for lesson plans in one assignment? it's really hard. doing one lesson plan is tough enough and now i have to think about four lesson plans?? whatever it is..i still have to work on it. the topic that i got is "come rain or shine" for year 4. The first things that come out from my mind is the song entitled "rain rain go away".. I used to sing this song in one competetion when i was in year 2. And now, I using the same song doing a lesson plan for teaching. it makes me smile a mile...

using that song for teaching material is a good idea for my listening activity. what about the other three? i still haven't got any idea. a poem maybe?

it's been six or seven years back the last time i used microsoft publisher. im not joking ok..

the last time i used it is when i am crazy about making birthday cards to friends. Now, microsoft publisher come again. reflecting myself dealing with it, i was just like a little kid plays with images!haha.. so back to the microsoft publisher. One of the task is to make a business card..
this task has to be done in pair. so my friend and I decided to design a business card of a spa..
Our card is just as simple as us but we've given the best on it.

To be true, thanx to our lecturer for bringing the nostalgia of microsoft publisher again..

the end of assignment 2

At last assignment 2 is completed. working with assignment 2 taught me a lot of new things that I have never knew before. Capturing images from video is one of them which seriously I've never had the interest and knowledge to do that. I've saw some of my friends did that but it didn't attract at all. Assignment 2 change me a lot. I mean A LOT. Before this, videos and songs is not my primary interest. I only watched videos that are in popular demands and yet i watched television seldomly. Songs are also not my interest. I just hear to songs while driving or when i was too bored to do anything.

With assignment 2, i started surfing the youtube.started to download videos and also having fun capturing images from it. Whoaaa.. that was so much fun when i managed to capture one guy image from one f my favourite video. So, who said that an assignment is just a burden? I don't think so.. Maybe some of it..but this assignmnet is more towards new learning and having fun.

Undeniably this assignment required so much time and effort but as i always remind myself..

yaa~~ nothing much to say today. Or should i rephrase it and write "don't say anything"??
today, the class is basically presenting the powerpoint presentation. all groups have presented their work as well as my group too.

what i learnt and see from the presentation?
well.. from my point of view,to be a resourceful teacher is not an easy job. it is not that you have to have a lot of resourcess to bring in your class but you have to be creative enough to manipulate the resourcess to be used in the classroom. it's not the matter of quantity but the quality is important. What's the point if you have a ton of teaching aids but the quality of it is worst?that is why.. to be a teacher,creativeness s important.

searching for videos is not that difficult.but searching for a good video is difficult. i wonder if the others face the same problem too. some of the videos are very well done in terms of graphic and sound but the input is not that much. it was more towards entertaining. where can i get those entertaining+educating videos? someone please help so that i manage to proceed this assignment...

no class but there's still tasks..!!

I was just sitting on the blue chair waiting for my lecturer to come when suddenly one of them said that there will no class for today.. We only need to send in the task given before and take another two tasks home! The tasks that we need to send in is ready in my hand, but the new task?? still, im not ready to bare with it. A lot f works to do.

The task that we need to do is a presentation and also a group work. Why on earth all this tasks are important? why? stupid girl! i shouldnt ask that question. hehe... this is what we called learning. Is there such learning phase that did not includes tasks, works and assignments? of course the answer is NO! if there's one, i will be the one who enters it.

The due date of the second assignment is just around the corner.
plus this two tasks somemore. and the equation is...

e-book making

me doing an e book? sounds like professional right?naaa.....my e book is just a powerpoint presentation. so, our next task on the seventh week is making an e book. for me, using an e book in primary classroom is very interesting coz the images and those sounds produced from the book will definitely attract the students to learn.
i'm cracking my head to find the idea and topic for my e-book but still didn't got one!
for the time being, i chose to pick the topic of animals and their characteristics.
hope my e-book is satisfying and not just thrash!huhu.....

more and more assignment (+_+)

Just woke up from bed. headache(coz sleeping during maghrib). Looking at the title of this post,im sure that uols already get the meaning right? yeah... more assignment is coming.
Yesterday, Pn Foziah assigned us with two new assignments. One assignment is a pair work assignment n another 1 is a group assignment. for the pair work assignment,my partner is Nisa. For this assignment, we have to make a video from pictures. during yesterday class,we get the opportunitiy to watch two videos made by our seniors. The first video that we watched is about love and friendship and the second video is about life. I'm more into the second video coz the first video is quite common to me and I used to have one which is similar to that video telling about me and my crush..can be said a romentic video..haha..(malu.nyorok.). the second video that Pn. Foziah showed us,come out with the theme 'tastes'. It's interesting to see that the person was able to relate the word taste with life. The pictures used were also beautiful.

So? what am I going to do with my assignment? Me and Nisa planned to do a video with the theme of love.but,we're not talking about the loovie doovie things ohkayy... Actually it's only an idea. Still not sure about that yet. If we didn't have any better idea, we'll stick to this one. So, to all lovers..wait for our video.heheh..

Ya..the group assignment. For this task, we have to do video editing. God....I've no experience on video editing.sad. But that's what we call LEARNING.

The dateline is on August 16th. Have to start working from today.

**audio and photo editing task**

the photo editing task had succesfully submited last week. Alhamdulliah, i get 100% for that photo.looks like my hardwork on that photo worth(not really hard actually coz im pro.hehe perasan)

looking at the others works, some of the photos deserve 100% and some of them not(sorry to say this) because some of their work is just too simple actually by just clicking at particular point. Im not saying that my work is the best and i deserve the mark,but what im trying to say is that it's not fair for some of them who put a lot of effort on their work.just my 2cent. peace.

today, I've just submitted my audio editing task. i started working on it yesterday and I slept at 3.50 last night.frankly,Im stupid on audio editing. I just know on how to edit the song by cutting it to make a caller ringtone.Love to do that!

things like mixing and blending song is not familiar with me. But, i tried to do the best for my assignment. I downloaded a software named MIXPAD. At first, the procedure is totally hard! I couldnt even understand on how to cut the song. Plus, there's no tutoial or tips for that software. So....i had to figure it out by myself. for about two hours, I mastered that software( ^_^)

It's quite fun and interesting. The product is also not bad.

ayah's birthday...

nearly forget that today is my father's birthday. luckily my brother phoned me and asked whether i had made the birthday cake for ayah that i promised before.. gosh!i didn't prepared anything and also have to cook for lunch today.argghh..suddenly i felt like there's so many works to do.
actually, im not that good in baking cake but the skills that i get from my fren,zha..is enough.. (hope so) but........there's only one that im worried about.the coating on top of the cake and the design. seriously i didn't know how to make that..but,will taram je la..hehe..sorry dad..(*0*)

the picture editing assignment is not done yet. for me,editing a picture is not that difficult as i used to edit a lot of pictures of myself and some of my fren had questioned me before with my hobby.she said that "ko ni takde keje lain ke?" heh....now, my hobby is worth kan kan kan?.it helps me with my work. not to say i am pro in editing but bolehla... Just now i tried to change the background of a picture and the result can be said marvellous!sadly, i couldn't save the image...~cry.cry.cry~

by the way, i bought three badgets just now.two of it will goes to my brother.another 1,will give to someone. i dunno why i bought it.. maybe coz my hand is very gatal to spend money.(membazir lagi!!grrrr!!!).later, i will upload the picture of the three badgets..
